The service, called 'Personal Assistance and Independent Living', will be managed by the Association of Family Caregivers and Friends of People with Dependency (Acufade) and will be located in the municipality of La Victoria de Acentejo. To carry out this service, Acufade has a five-year accreditation, counting from the date of this resolution, which is conditional on maintaining the conditions and requirements. Greater autonomy The Personal Assistance service is a service whose objective is to facilitate the beneficiary's access to education and work, or to enable greater autonomy in the exercise of basic activities of daily life, their inclusion and participation in the community. . Acufade is a non-profit association, which arises from a process of community intervention and socio-health coordination that began in 2001 in the municipality of La Matanza de Acentejo, in Tenerife, and was established as an association in 2005 with the aim of promote the well-being of older and/or dependent people (especially those living with Alzheimer's or other dementias), caregivers and families.
